Paul George Back on Court Shooting Jumpers Less Than 3 Months After Surgery

Pacers forward Paul George has ditched his boot and is looking healthy.

It's hard to forget the look of Paul George's gruesome leg injury back in August during a USA Basketball intrasquad scrimmage in Las Vegas. After chasing James Harden on a fast break, George landed hard beneath the basket, breaking his right lower leg in two places.

It looks like the Pacers star is on his way back to his former self. A video surfaced Monday of George practicing his mid-range and 3-point jump shots with ease. Although immediately following the injury, doctors predicted a year-long recovery process, George is battling (ropes) to return by the playoffs. In late September, he was cleared to do upper-body and core work, as well as begin to put weight on his right leg.

"It's very possible that I can play [this season]," George told a reporter on media day. "I've talked to all the guys and said, 'Man, you guys have to get in the playoffs. That's the best chance I've got of coming back and playing this year.' I've already got it in mind that I could miss this whole year. I've come to peace with that, but I'd love to be able to come back and play again."

George also recently posted a video to his Instagram playing one-on-one with his dog. Check it out in the video above.
